Their technology uses artificial intelligence and machine learning to conduct criminal background checks on candidates quickly, efficiently, and transparently.
Integrate JazzHR with Checkr to initiate the background screening process and receive results within the JazzHR Candidate Profile.
To integrate JazzHR with Checkr:
Set up the Integration
- Click Settings.
- Click Integrations.
- Scroll down to the Checkr block.
- Click More Details.
- A window with Checkr will prompt you to sign in or create a Checkr account.
- Sign in:
- Fill in your account username and password and Log In.
- Once logged in, select Click here to connect.
- Sign in:
- Create an account:
- Fill in the requested fields in the Checkr module and Create Account.
- Your Checkr account will be Pending Creation.
Once you have the integration set up, you can order background checks.
Order the Background Check in JazzHR
- Within the Candidate Profile, click the Assessments tab.
- Scroll to the Checkr section and click Select Package.
- Select the appropriate background check package and click Request Background Check.
Once requested, the candidate will receive an email notification from Checkr to start the background check process.
*Note that pricing and billing information is stored on the Checkr platform.
View Results in JazzHR
You are able to monitor the progress of the background check from the Assessments tab of the Candidate Profile.
When the background check is completed, the status will change from In-Progress to Completed or Needs Attention. Click View Details to see all information in Checkr.
Frequently Asked Questions
What user roles can send candidates to Checkr background checks?
Checkr is a customer-level integration. Only Super Admins can configure the integration. Only Super Admins and Recruiting Admins can order and view background checks from the candidate profile in JazzHR.
