Integrating JazzHR with Time Rack

Reduce manual effort and automate your employee workflow by connecting JazzHR with Time Rack, the expert in time and attendance.

Sync your existing accounts to export hired candidates from JazzHR to Time Rack for a seamless start to your onboarding process. Automate this export via a Workflow Helper, or manually send new hires one-by-one from each Candidate Profile.

To start leveraging this time-saving connection:

Set Up the Integration

First, reach out to your representative at Time Rack to request the following information. Not sure of who to contact? Let their team know.

  • Client ID
  • Client Secret

Once you have this information, head into JazzHR:

  1. Click Settings.
  2. Click Integrations.
  3. Navigate to the Time Rack block.
  4. Click Connect.


From the next modal:

  1. Enter your client id and secret.
  2. Click Connect.


Export Candidates

Head to JazzHR to start sending candidates over to Time Rack. To export an individual candidate:

  1. Click Candidates.
  2. Click the name of the candidate you'd like to export.
  3. Click the drop-down caret next to Workflow Status.
  4. Click Export Candidate.
  5. Select Time Rack.
  6. Click Export.


The following candidate information will be sent to Time Rack:

  • First Name
  • Last Name
  • Email
  • Address (City, State, Zip)
  • Phone Number
  • Gender
  • Job Name
  • Hired Date (Date Exported)
  • Payroll Start (Date Exported) 

To add an export to Time Rack as a Workflow Helper:

  • Click Settings.
  • Click Workflows.
  • Click the name of the Workflow you'd like to edit.
  • Scroll to the Hired disposition on which you'd like to set up this export. Remember that this export will be triggered anytime a candidate is moved into this disposition. 
  • Click Add.
  • Select Time Rack from the drop-down.


Once, the candidate is moved into this stage, you'll see the following confirmation box. Keep the box checked, and click Confirm Status Change to send this candidate to Time Rack.
