Increase Visibility with Paid Job Board Syndication

 The more candidates see your job, the better the chance of you finding the right person.

Besides sending your jobs to over a dozen free boards, JazzHR also offers a paid job syndication option. Pay to enhance your job's visibility and/or reach new boards directly from each job's Advertise tab in JazzHR.

Paying to Syndicate

Easily apply paid syndication to your job(s) right from JazzHR. Here's how:

  • Click Jobs.
  • Click the name of the job you'd like to sponsor.
  • Click Advertise.
  • Scroll to find the job board on which you'd like to sponsor your job.
  • Click Purchase.

From here, the process will vary based on the job board. Review the list below for specific steps on each. Note that all purchases will automatically charge the credit card on file.

Using LinkedIn Sponsored Posting

Leverage LinkedIn's network of 380 million members through by sponsoring your job. This paid syndication option allows your jobs to be featured in emails to targeted candidates. Here's how to purchase:

  • Click Jobs.
  • Click the name of the job you'd like to sponsor.
  • Click Advertise.
  • Scroll to the "LinkedIn" section.
  • Click Purchase.
  • Enter in the email address of the account you wish to post on behalf of.
  • Mark the box to confirm that you wish to purchase a posting.
  • Enter the job's zip code.
  • Click Purchase Posting.

Note that the price for LinkedIn sponsorship varies by zip code, which is required to purchase.

Using Indeed Sponsored Posting - Pay Per Click (PPC)

Sponsor your job on Indeed to have it displayed more prominently at the top and bottom of relevant search results.

Indeed sponsorship runs on a pay-per-click model, meaning you only pay when candidates click on your sponsored job (up to the amount you set for your budget). Effective 11/6/18, you must have an Indeed account in order to sponsor jobs on JazzHR.  Visit Indeed to create an account, or follow the steps below to create an Indeed account.

To purchase:

  • Click Jobs.
  • Click the name of the job you'd like to sponsor.
  • Click Advertise.
  • Scroll to the "Indeed" section.
  • Click Purchase.

From the next page:

  • Select a budget.
  • Click Sponsor Job on Indeed Now.

Note that there is no way to issue a refund once your card is charged. Be sure you are certain you want to buy credits prior to completing the transaction.

  • Enter your phone number, and click Submit Phone Number to request contact with Indeed directly.
  • Click Skip to opt out of this contact.

Using Glassdoor Sponsored Posting

Purchase a sponsored posting on Glassdoor to match with better candidates and receive 13 times more clicks (on average) than with a free posting. Here's how to purchase:

  • Click Jobs.
  • Click the name of the job you'd like to sponsor.
  • Click Advertise.
  • Scroll to the "Glassdoor" section.
  • Click Purchase.
  • Mark the box to confirm that you wish to purchase a posting.
  • Click Purchase Posting.

Using ZipRecruiter Boost

For urgent or hard-to-fill hiring needs, make your job post more competitive by applying a boost. With ZipRecruiter Boost, your jobs get prioritized in search results on ZipRecruiter.com, in their network of 100+ job boards, and in daily candidate emails. Here's how to purchase:

  • Click Jobs.
  • Click the name of the job you'd like to sponsor.
  • Click Advertise.
  • Scroll to the "ZipRecruiter Boost" section.
  • Click Purchase.
  • Mark the box to confirm that you wish to purchase a posting.
  • Click Purchase Posting

Note you must have a valid address listed in the job description in order to correctly post via ZipRecruiter Boost.

Posting to Dice

Dice provides a network of tech professionals for employers trying to fill technology-related roles. Here's how to purchase and post your job here:

  • Click Jobs.
  • Click the name of the job you'd like to sponsor.
  • Click Advertise.
  • Scroll to the "Hire A Hero" section.
  • Click Purchase.

Posting to Careers 2.0 by StackOverflow

When an administrator wishes to post a job to Stack Overflow Careers 2.0:

  1. Access Advertise for the job.
  2. Scroll down to the StackOverflow section.
  3. Click Purchase.
  4. Enter at least one tag.
    • It is required to enter at least one tag in order to post the job.
    • This is a requirement of Stack Overflow, not JazzHR.
    • All other fields are optional.
    • The How to Apply link is generated automatically.
  5. Select the confirmation checkbox.
  6. Click Purchase Posting.  (Posting is a 30 day posting)
  7. The credit card that is on file for the account will be charged.
  8. The job is immediately posted to Careers 2.0.
  9. The administrator is provided with an expiration date for the post, as well as a link to view the job on Careers 2.0.

NOTE: 1. StackOverflow does not support "Confidential" job postings at this time.

           2. StackOverflow/JazzHR does not support inventory types outside of the United States.

           3. StackOverflow does not support custom CSS in job descriptions.

Posting to Mashable 

  1. Click the job you'd like to sponsor.
  2. Click Advertise.
  3. Click Purchase.
  4. Mark the box to confirm that you wish to purchase a posting.
  5. Click Purchase Posting.
  6. Your credit card on file will be charged.
  7. If you want to sponsor multiple jobs, repeat this process for each job you wish to sponsor.

Posting to SHRM 

  1. Click the job you'd like to sponsor.
  2. Click Advertise.
  3. Click Purchase.
  4. Mark the box to confirm that you wish to purchase a posting.
  5. Click Purchase Posting.
  6. Your credit card on file will be charged.
  7. If you want to sponsor multiple jobs, repeat this process for each job you wish to sponsor.

Posting to Hire A Hero

  • Click Jobs.
  • Click the name of the job you'd like to sponsor.
  • Click Advertise.
  • Scroll to the "Hire A Hero" section.

Post your job to Snagajob to capture their network of hourly employees. Here's how to purchase and post:

  • Click Jobs.
  • Click the name of the job you'd like to sponsor.

Posting to CareerArc

  • Click Jobs.
  • Click the name of the job you'd like to sponsor.
  • Click Advertise.
  • Scroll to the "CareerArc" section.

Posting to Monster.com

*Note this job board requires an integration

The following inventory types are supported:

  • Local Pricing Global, Monster, 30
  • Local Pricing US, Monster, 30
  • Local Pricing Global, Monster, 60
  • Local Pricing US, Monster, 60

Setting Up the Initial Integration

  1. Call Monster at 1-866-811-2458 and request the following. Both are free:
    • Global - Custom Apply Link - Job specific
    • Real-Time Posting (RTP) username
  2. Purchase either 30- or 60-day inventory through Monster (you can always purchase more later).
    • Inventory with additional features built into it such as "Auto Refresh" or "Bolding" is not supported.
    • If you would like to use any of these features, you should post manually through Monster.com and use the Job Link Builder to create a link for applicants to use to apply via JazzHR. See more information on the Job Link Builder below.
  3. Log into your JazzHR account
  4. Click Settings. Note: Only admins and account owners have access to Settings
  5. Click Integrations.
  6. Click Connect to Monster.
  7. Enter your username and password.
  8. Click Save Credentials.

Posting to Monster

Once your integration is set up you can post any open positions to Monster via JazzHR.

  1. Click Jobs.
  2. Click the name of the job you'd like to post to Monster.
  3. Click Advertise.
  4. Scroll down to the Monster integration section.
  5. Click Purchase.
  6. Select a 30- or 60-day posting.
  7. Select Job Categories, Occupations, and Industries, if desired.
  8. Click Post to Monster.
  9. As long as you have inventory, your job will post automatically

Editing a Monster Posting

If you make any edits to a job, you can refresh your Monster posting.

  1. Click Jobs.
  2. Click the job you edited.
  3. Click Advertise.
  4. Click Update Monster Listing.
  5. Your job will automatically refresh.

Posting to CareerBuilder

*Note this job board requires an integration.

  1. Make sure you have purchased sufficient inventory via CareerBuilder
    • At this time, only 30-day inventory is supported.
  2. Verify your bulkposter username and password through CareerBuilder. 

Connect Your JazzHR and CareerBuilder Accounts

This only needs to be done once unless log in information is updated.

  1. Click Settings. Note: Only admins and account owners have access to Settings.
  2. Click Integrations.
  3. Click Connect to CareerBuilder.
  4. Enter in your bulkposter username and password.
  5. Click Save Credentials.

Posting to CareerBuilder

  1. Click Jobs.
  2. Click the job you would like to post to CareerBuilder.
  3. Click Advertise.
  4. Select Job Category and Job Industry from the drop-down menus
    • You may select up to 5 Job Categories and Industries from within the list, but best practice is to limit your selection to 3-4 items for each.
    • Once the job is posted, these values cannot be changed.
  5. Click Purchase.
  6. Click Post on CareerBuilder.
    • The job will queue and be posted as CareerBuilder processes jobs.

Editing a CareerBuilder Post

  1. Click Jobs.
  2. Click the job you'd like to edit.
  3. Make the necessary edits.
  4. Click Save Changes.
  5. Click Advertise.
  6. Click Update CareerBuilder Listing.
  7. Your job will queue just as if you were posting it for the first time.

Frequently Asked Questions

How long does it take for my job to appear on the boards after I purchase or make an update to it?

After submitting or editing a paid job syndication, please allow 24-48 hours for the job to update on the job board(s).

Why am I receiving an error message when I try to purchase paid postings to LinkedIn?

This could be that your LinkedIn company ID isn't entered into JazzHR. Be sure to do this to expedite the process.
