Setting up Zenefits Integration

JazzHR and Zenefits are partnering to bring you a comprehensive package of HR Services, all in one place. Now you’ll be able to manage additional HR services with a Zenefits account—payroll, benefits, time and attendance, and compliance—in addition to the current recruiting and performance services you already receive in JazzHR.

Integrating Zenefits with JazzHR

You must set up the integration before you begin exporting your candidates and offers into Zenefits.
Note: Only users with Admin accounts in both JazzHR and Zenefits will be able to set up the integration.

Before you begin, make sure you have your Company ID and Secret Key from your Zenefits account. To get this information, follow these steps:

  1. Navigate to this card and click Add Existing.   
  2. Click Connect Existing App.
  3. Copy your Company ID and Secret Key.
  4. Click Get Started to link to your JazzHR account, or log in through a separate window.

 Follow these steps to enter your Company ID and Secret Key into your JazzHR account: 

  1. Click SETTINGS.
  2. Click Integrations.
  3. Scroll to Zenefits, and click Connect to Zenefits.
  4. Enter your Company ID and Company Secret.
  5. Click Save Credentials.

Congratulations! You're now ready to begin using the Zenefits and JazzHR integration. 
Note: You can manage and verify your connection in Zenefits.

Follow these steps to verify that your accounts are successfully connected:

  1. Log into Zenefits. You'll now see this card:
  2. Click Manage. You'll see this confirmation screen:

Exporting Candidates

This integration allows you to export the following candidate information from JazzHR to Zenefits:

  • First Name
  • Last Name
  • Email
  • Address
  • Phone Number
  • Job Title

If any of these fields aren't completed, you can edit the candidate profile and fill in any missing information. 

To export candidate information, follow these steps:

  1. Click the candidate name (either in the Jobs or Candidate page).
  2. Click on Profile.
  3. Scroll below the resume and click Export.
  4. Click Export to Zenefits.

The candidate information will now be exported, and a new record will be created in Zenefits.  

Exporting a Candidate's Offer

Once you've created an offer and your candidate has accepted, you can export the following information.

  • First Name
  • Last Name
  • Email
  • Address
  • Phone Number
  • Job Title
  • Job Location
  • Supervisor Name
  • Start Date
  • Offer Created Date
  • Salary

Note: All the candidate information is included when exporting an offer to Zenefits. If you've already exported a candidate, don't worry!  Zenefits will match the offer data with the right candidate and create one record for you.
